I actually drew this back in college as a school assignment where we illustrated a movie poster and cast movie actors for a book to movie adaptation. (Which I’m realizing was over a decade ago.) I had read Mistborn for the first time recently at that point, so of course, I chose that! Mark Strong as the Lord Ruler, Dakota Fanning as Vin and… I can’t even remember who for Kelsier. Yeah, I know Kelsier is supposed to be blond, but I forgot that when I painted this. For some reason when I read the book, I just pictured everything in black and white with little color.
